Our Story

After more than a decade working in the events and hospitality industry, our founder, Stephan, decided to design and import a catering trailer to help scale his business into a franchise. The project was a great success, but it also revealed just how challenging the process could be.

Despite searching extensively, Stephan found it nearly impossible to source a truly bespoke trailer from UK suppliers. It soon became clear that many of the trailers on the market were imported, even when advertised otherwise.

With a background in CAD design — skills honed during his time as a jewellery designer in Hatton Garden — Stephan set out to find a dependable overseas manufacturer who could bring his technical drawings to life, delivering a premium product without the excessive price tag.

Navigating the complexities of international trade, shipping logistics, and import regulations wasn’t easy, but the first trailer was eventually produced and shipped - and was beautiful. That experience inspired the creation of Orion Trailers — a company founded on the belief that no one else should have to jump through so many hoops to achieve their dream catering setup.

Today, with numerous successful builds completed, Orion Trailers has refined the process into a seamless, transparent service. We’re proud to design bespoke catering trailers accessible to entrepreneurs across the UK, combining craftsmanship, honesty, and design expertise at every step.
